2nd Derbyshire Yeomanry March Past Bremerhaven

On 12th May 1945, the 51st Highland Division staged a Victory March through the streets of Bremerhaven. The 2nd Derbyshire Yeomanry was represented by two columns. The armoured car column was led by the Commanding Officer Lieutenant-Colonel WP Serocold DSO which moved two abreast whilst Major AFC Langly-Smith MC took command of the marching column of eight officers and eighty-eight other ranks who marched eight abreast. The salute was taken by Lieutenant-General BG Horrocks CB DSO MC Commander 30th Corps.
